My Onward Tech Journey Part: Infinity♾️

Its me again.....😊

There are several Myths flying around however, this happened to me. “The thought that :You have to know everything before you start your journey or start a new role in tech.”

I remember when I first stepped into the tech space. Then life happened.

I LOST my 1st job.....

ree

EVERYONE who knows me, knows this story🤣

At the time, it felt like such a setback.

But looking back now, that moment gave me the courage to pick myself up and start again.

Yes, I had some basic background knowledge, at least by then I saw for the 1st time what requirements looked like and to some degree understood how they shaped a project.

But still, a part of me believed I needed to know everything else before I could see myself as “good enough to get another job.”

I honestly thought I had to know everything before I could contribute or even call myself “ready.” I’d look at job descriptions packed with tools, frameworks, and acronyms, and I’d immediately feel like I wasn’t there yet.

What I’ve learned over time is this: YOU WILL NEVER KNOW EVERYTHING...And that’s completely okay. Tech isn’t a destination; IT'S A JOURNEY of continuous learning. The industry evolves so fast that even experts are still learning every single day.

I still am.

When I stopped trying to “know it all” and started focusing on understanding concepts, asking questions, and applying what I already knew, everything changed. I realized growth happens through doing, not by waiting to feel ready.

The truth?

You don’t need to know it all to be good. You just need to start.

Every experience even the tough ones adds layers to your growth. Losing that job didn’t end my journey; it redefined it.

Now, when I work with new interns or people transitioning into tech, I always remind them: “You don’t have to have all the answers you just need the courage to start and the curiosity to keep learning.”

So, if you’re new to tech and feeling overwhelmed take it from someone who’s been there for 21+ years.

Start small. Ask questions. Be consistent. The confidence and clarity will come as you build
