DiiT UK Programme for Graduates & First-Time Tech Entrants.

Your 9-Month Journey into a Career in Tech

Breaking into the technology industry can feel overwhelming, especially if you are a recent graduate or someone looking to transition into tech for the first time.

The DiiT Programme has been designed to provide a structured, practical and supportive pathway for individuals who want to build a career in technology, even if they do not have previous professional experience in the industry.

  • Career & Programme Identification – Month 1

  • Live Practical Training – Month 2

  • Industry Internship with UK Companies – Months 3–8

  • Post-Programme Career Support – Month 9

The key programs we offer in this pathway are:

1. Agile Project Management/ Product Management (APM)

2. Business Analysis (BA)

3. Business process Analyst (BPA)

Over approximately 9 months, candidates progress through three key stages.

Taking a Break

STEP 1:

Identifying Your Path.

Month 1:

Career & Role Assessment

Not everyone is suited to the same role in tech.

The first stage of the DiiT Programme is therefore focused on understanding who you are, how you think, how you work and which technology career pathway is most aligned with your strengths and personality.

During Month 1, candidates are introduced to the three pathways:

Agile Project Management / Product Management | Business Analysis | Business Process Analysis

We explore the different responsibilities, skills and working styles associated with each role.

Candidates are supported in identifying the pathway that best matches their:

  • Personality

  • Strengths

  • Communication style

  • Problem-solving approach

  • Interests

  • Existing transferable skills

  • Career goals

  • Preferred working environment

The goal

By the end of Month 1, candidates should have a clearer understanding of which pathway is right for them and why.

This ensures that the practical training and internship experience that follows is focused on a career direction that genuinely suits the candidate.

STEP 2:

Live Practical Training

Month 2:

4 Saturdays of Practical Learning

Once candidates have identified their pathway, they move into the practical training stage.

Over four Saturdays, candidates participate in live, practical sessions designed to bridge the gap between theory and real-world technology projects.

The focus is not simply on learning terminology or completing courses.

Candidates are introduced to how professionals actually work within technology teams and projects.

Training may include practical exposure to:

  • Agile and Scrum

  • Project and product delivery

  • Business analysis techniques

  • Business process analysis

  • Requirements gathering

  • User stories

  • Process mapping

  • Stakeholder management

  • Project documentation

  • Practical technology tools

  • Team collaboration

  • Real-world project scenarios

Candidates begin developing the confidence to participate in a professional project environment and understand what will be expected of them during their internship.
